Hi everyone,
Hope you had a good weekend. 10 days until our Florida trip.
I can't wait to have new pics and updates for the site.
Have some outstanding news I must share...
My wife and I are going to have a baby!! We have been trying for almost
2 years and finally voila! The soldiers are still strong!!
Anyways as this summer winds down I have been reflecting on this year so
far and how things have been going.
After our first two years of marriage were tough- network marketing failure,
living in another city, broke as a joke, and trying to find our way, we
decided to sit down after X-mas each year and put together our goals for
the upcoming year.
Things have been going well. We bought our first home which is as perfect
as you could picture it. We look forward to our next being our first rental
property. You see I'm not big on company retirement plans- I want to have
control over my finances. I keep seeing too many people losing and being frustrating
as they get older.
I started this website. Things are great with it so far. The system is working
quite perfectly. The only way is up.
I am on the home stretch for school. Two quarters to go and I am done!!
Accountant- If you would have told me 10 years ago I wanted to be an accountant
or any type of financial guy, I would have argued with you.
Ang is doing well with the pregnancy so far and with her job. She is good
at what she does and will probably head up one of our companies one day- she's good
at the real estate thing.
I am still working at Outback, which isn't so bad. Biz is sporatic but the
people there are cool. I love talking to others about relationships. Some guys
and girls for that matter just don't get it, but we all learn the hard way
sometimes right? It is exciting to be moving on to the next phase of my life.
Life is crazy and if you aren't paying attention, it will pass you by.
If you aren't happy with your life try doing something I learned...
Picture yourself at 75 years old sitting on the porch in a rocking chair
enjoying a beautiful day. You start looking back on your life...
Did you do everything you wanted? Do you have regrets? Would you do things
differently? Did you accomplish all you wanted? Were you happy?
If you are afraid to be in a position at 75 and looking back wishing you did more
then that is a sign- WAKE UP!! So far in my 26 years I have done everything I
wanted and have no regrets. I look forward to the future, being a father,
achieving wealth in all forms, and helping others along the way!
Sorry to ramble, just thought I'd share some of whats in my head- hell that's what this darn blog is for anyhow.
Don't forget to check out our site
and I will see you next time...
Stay classy (as my fav- ron burgundy says)
Joe
